In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, andcinnamon.
In a large bowl, beat the remaining butter with sugaruntil creamy. Next, beat in egg yolks, flour mixture, milk, and vanilla untilwell blended.
In a small bowl, beat egg whites until a soft peakstage; fold into the batter and spread over pears.
Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes. Coolon a wire rack and turn over onto a serving platter.
